Laatste tijd erg druk gehad (verliefd en nu verloofd en volgend jaar getrouwd), dus heb niet veel meer kunnen tekenen. Well, since you've left something on my shoutbox, i thought it would be appropriate to leave something in your guestbook. The Ayla-toon you were talking about was made for a fan, so i don't really have it anymore. The idea is still in my head though, so one of these days i'm going to make it for the website (or maybe the FACTSconvention for next year).

Hello, I do love your art but I am writing to you about the comment wanting to know the origin of your name. How did you get your name...Mine was a creation of my moms best friend (Linda) and her mom Cora, put together. I too wonder what the meaning was and the only one I have found is it was a acronym for the Colonial/Indian Exposition in 1886. I can tell you I grew up hating my name as I was teased terribly for it, Lindy was what my Dad called me because he was a pilot and he liked Lucky Lindy better. So I went with that, but in class the teachers only called us by our NAME, so it stuck in school. I hope your experience was a better one. I was born in AZ and am of swedish heritage. Having red hair and freckles in school was no help then either. I never appreciated my hair color until I was older. As it turns out I married a man who loves red heads. Its so nice to see there are other Colindas out there and you are very talented. Best of Luck to you I envy your gift, mine is with animals but I cant even draw a stick man well! Take care and if you care to share your experience growing up with your name I would love to hear it.

Colinda 'Seraph' de Lange replies: "Hi there! Nice to meet another Colinda! My name came from a song by Lucille Starr. A song my parents liked a lot. I never got teased. It’s a name that isn’t heard so much around here, but there are some others I know of. Red hair is beautiful, be proud of it. My husband had red hair when he was a baby, now it’s brown, but in the sun it still is kin da reddish and I love it. He never really got to appreciate it though, got teased a lot too.
