In a sliver of reality unseen to many, humanity has long since fallen to the ruined wastes of their own creations, ever expanding their understanding of science and magic, until it led to their downfall. The scientific creation of demonic portals to admit presences from the darker dimensions. Such a portal was opened on Dec. 21st  2012 at 11:11am. Since then, many venture far from their safe havens within the mountains and shadowed rivers to the wastes of old and rid their world of the remnants of their treacherous past. And as the rite of passage is claimed by another young warrior female of the Jezzo Clan, the still beating heart is feasted upon, giving her immunity from local lethal radiation for yet another day of strife against the shadows of the past. She will die either way, the radiation already lethal before every reaching the killing ground... but the chance to clear the future for her clan of danger is worth every drop of her life she can shed.
