Don't even think that you're bad! Your outlines are fantastic! It's better than a heck of a lot of 14 year olds that I know, so don't bring yourself down! You'll improve, definatley. It takes time to find what mediums agree with you the most. Me, I can't do painting (okay, so I never had the chance to, but still), charcoal, or use crayons and markers. I just can't. It just doesn't come out like the other mediums I use. Obviously, it's going to look different since--der, Faith--it's a different medium, but I just don't know how to use them correctly to get the colors and the feel that I want. It'll take a while to find out which mediums are the ones you're most comfortable with (me: pencil, pen, crayola color pencils--not even real artist pencils, oh no, too complex, it has to be crayola, and photoshop. Hey, it's not a lot of choices, but what can you do? Shove some oil paints at me and the most you'll get out of me is a 'huh?'.) So don't feel hopeless! Believe in yourself! *now feels like one of those self-esteem people...*
Oh, and I just have to say it: Your hair is AWE-SOME! It looks sooo nice! It suites you. Very nice. =P

You are very good at faces and proportions, especially for one so young! If you carry on like this, you could do really well. I'm REALLY impressed by the work here. Patience will come with time, or so they tell me. I'm still waiting for it myself!

You've got a lot of skill with faces, and all the rest is simply practice. Don't allow yourself to get discouraged, 'cause then your skills backslide, and you're in trouble... I took a year off drawing so I could concentrate on Year 12 in school, and its taken me most of the summer to get my skills back to the level they were at the start of last year.

Keep up the art production, what you have now as a skill base will take you very far, its much better than I had then.
