SciFi and Fantasy Art Two unicorn studs by Helena Zeegers

I have never really been able to accept that unicorns, utterly wild and magical as they are, would be wholly white. Therefore, I decided to paint a unicorn that looks as wild as I see them as. Also, I figured they must be patterned in a way that makes them blend in with the background. If they were'nt, we would spot them more often, don´t you think? ;)
Here´s two unicorn studs. The grey stud is chasing away the older and now weaker stud from the teritory after winning a fight. I think I managed to make the old stallion look old bodywise. But I must say, I adore the grey! His coat took forever to paint.
Watercolor and photoshop modification since the scanner managed to bleach out almost all color.

Men nu när du tar upp det så insåg jag "shit, det måste ju seriöst stämma!" att jag alldrig tänkt på det förut O.o Hur som helst så är enhörningarna jättefint färglagda, och hela bilden innehåller så vackra färger. Jee, jag blir helt avundsjuk på din talant.

Själv skulle jag aldrig ens kommit på tanken att rita en liknande bild, antar att min fantasi inte är lika intressant som din Hade jag ens halva din talang så vore jag en väldigt lycklig människa
