I love it! You have the gift with pastels! hehe. LOVE IT! Robyn *Copperhead* Lee
replies: "Thank you, Larka! I do love working with the chalks. They blend so easily! I think that's part of why I'm procrastinating on using my oils! Lol. "

This is my favorite head study of yours, love the colors and pose Robyn *Copperhead* Lee
replies: "Thank you much! I just had the wild idea one day to try the chalks on canvas, and was rather pleased at how it turned out. I am thinking about doing more. This one was the first piece I had done in a while....it's taken me almost a year to get back into my art. I'm glad I'm getting back in....I've really missed it."

Those chalk pastels look neat! I like the shading of the blue mane, and the pose is wonderfully spirited.Thank you! I don't know what it was, but all I know was that I saw the canvas sitting there gathering dust and thought, I wonder how chalks would look on that? So, I did it, and I like the result. I will probably do another, as well. The chalks seem to blend easier on the canvas...maybe it's the texture? But I'm glad you like it.

I like this. I think the composition works and the flowing hair is lovely to look at - you chose the colours well. Thank you! I'm glad you like him. I wasn't sure what colors I wanted. I'm pleased with how he turned out.
