I wrote my first story when I was 7. It was about a fox who went to sea. Since then, the stories and the characters have been an erratic but integral part of my life. When people ask me 'what do you want to do when you grow up?' I always reply that I want to tell stories. Everything else is a day job, or an inspiration. My stories don't follow a 'theme' or a rigid 'genre' definition, they just happen. You can expect to meet ghosts, gargoyles, alchemists, dragons, shape-shifters or my elusive elf, Fyrvern. Oh, and goblins. Lots of goblins.

Strangely (to me anyway) a lot of my stories are love stories in some way. They're never conventional ones though - there's even a goblin love story (why shouldn't goblins fall in love? after all, where did you think goblins came from?). I think I just like writing about all the people and creatures who wouldn't ordinarily get a story because they're ugly or somehow 'bad' (ever noticed how those two things are often the same?) - in my stories the goblins and gargoyles come out of the shadows, become more than just faceless villains for the 'good', beautiful people to vanquish. At least, I hope they do... See for yourself!
