SciFi and Fantasy Art Shamien Postcard by Cori E R Trout

One of several postcards that I finished to sell at FC '06 (none of which sold, but all are still for sale). Watercolor plus colored pencils.

A Shamien, Troech specifically, though it started out as a generic one, back-winging to land after making the leap from one side of th Sha forest to the other. The forest has been divided by Kirashtyn's road for over a thousand years. The Shamien dominate both the North and South Sha, maintaining its borders and range through perpetuating the belief that the whole area is haunted.
