M'name is as stated above, though I have a couple nick-names that float about, including, but not limited to KunstFeuer, Lantair or LantairVlea, Maibenti, and several others. I'm 20 , and was recently married (thus the name change). I have finished my Assoc. in Equine Science and am almost finished with a BA in Art Education (three more semesters).
I teach riding lessons to beginners and youth. I own four horses, a 10 year old Arab gelding named Kash, a 16 year old Haflinger mare named Chewy, a 7 year old Belgian mare named Ruby, and a 5 year old Pinto Draft mare named Panda.
I speak German, have been to Germany twice and hope to eventually do something with it more than listening to German music and reading the odd book (not that just doing those two things is a bad thing, I love my German music [Nena, Peter Schilling, Udo Lindenberg, Falco, etc.] it's just be nice to use it in conversation and the like as well).
I'm LDS, or 'Mormon,' and am forever striving to better myself, and become more aware of who and what I am. I think that's enough of my psyco-blabber *dissapears.*
Updates:
20.7.06: A few new pieces, and I'm itching to cull the gallery again, but never fear! It won't happen until I manage 50 images again, which will be soon. If you want to see a greater collection of my work I suggest viewing my website or my Artwanted gallery.
8.1.07: The 50 image limit has been reached once again! The next update will include a culling of the old images that have been cluttering this place for quite a while. I've been moving forward quite well on the Shifting Times comic, which can be viewed at the Kashian website in full. Enjoy the new art!
Another note: I am currently accepting commissions! Feel free to contact me for further information or check out my sales page.
15.5.07: One new piece and several old ones removed. I am still open for commissions. I was recently at LepreCon 33 in the Art Show there and will be attending CopperCon in September in Phoenix, Arizona.
29.11.07: A handful of new images and hopefully more to come shortly! I am open for commissions for those interested and school as well as life continues to take up a large amount of my time.

I love the way you style your animals and design the pysique of your other works. I must congradulate you on your hard work, and that you should keep it up. Keep it real! | |

| 30 Nov 2007 | Matthias Schmidt | Loading...Hello Cori.,I like your gallery, it is a nice collection of coloured and black/white art just as well. The way you draw or paint your characters is great, especially the animal-humans. I hope to see some new pictures by you the next time. And now, thus you speak German, I say Viel Glück und Erfolg für die Zukunft! Cori E. R. Trout replies: "Vielen Dank Matthias!I have a habit of exploring different media and techniques, especially recently. I think it helps make a better artist as you free yourself from the restriction of a single medium.I'm hoping to update bi-monthly at least, but not all of my art fits in the sci-fi/fantasy genre." | |
