SciFi and Fantasy Art Little shaman by Addy ´borqje´ Corstiaensen

You have encountered him in the woods, a little boy and his 'imaginary' friends. But don't let his young appearance fool you, he 's an ancient priest surrounded by his familiars, up to something... I did this one in soft colouring pencil on smooth paper. I emphasized the boyish appearance, by giving the priest a 'babycurl' of a snake tattoo and adding a babyblue shade on his skin (which makes him look as cold as the snake he's holding)

I didn't noted the tatoo until I read about it, but that's ok... And those little fellas... I love them! Maybe you can give us a little detail about them, draw something with just them... They rock!^_^ Okay!
27 Jul 2001	Wendelien Meijer	Loading... This one is my favourite, though I would never mistake him for innocent.....the lill' critters are a great addition to the whole.He's one of my favs too... there wil be some additions with this theme...one for the critters and one for the little shaman.
18 Dec 2001	Lyndell Stout	Loading... Very cool, very unique character. He is well drawn and has a sense of mischief about him. The monochromatic-like color scheme is a nice touch as well. Addy 'borqje' Corstiaensen replies: "I'm planning on doing an extensional picture with him, showing a bit more of his character and surroundings. I'm indeed thinking about keeping those few tones of colour."

Oh god Addy,I simply LOVE this picture..how many times I have been looking to this one.I simply love it,there are not many words for (especially because I'm not that really good in writing English,besides me lies now a dictionary Nederlands-Engels) Anyhow.I like those "imaginary friends",wich could also be real,actually both.?The snakes (the one he's holding,and the one on his head),the little shaman boy,and especially it's anatomy.(actually,how long have you been studying anatomy?)Tough that...beautiful Addy.
