This one is another version of the first werecrow. I made in pencil on VERY smooth paper, first I sketched the image very lightly on the paper, then added the texture of the wings, skin, bill etc. I wanted to keep the drawing loose, because I love the power of suggestion, only adding details where it was important. I wanted to get the fluffy feeling of a birds feathery cover.

O_O BIG crow! Ahhh...Love the detail. Wondermous! Very nice, I like the power of suggestion also. It is quite fun sometimes. The power of suggestion is as powerful as a sketch, a kind of free style that represents an emotion...I love it

I have no clue how I stumbled across this site, But your art work is wonderful. This has to be my favorite though. I like how you mingled the two. Its a very beautiful picture. Have you ever thought about drawing a feline person. Im not sure what exactly they are called, but im sure you would beable to capture the beauty in them as well. If you ever do.. please email me with the site name. I would love to see that. Im not sure if the email address goes over the web or not but I would really appreciate it.. Your work is lovely.. and the faerie you drew marvelous. 2 A feline person...I'll think about it...I'll let you now when the creature has found a place in my Elfwood cave 12

Hey, you know your stuff! Birds definitely blink from the bottom up. As someone who's handled a lot of birds I just love the look of the feathers in this pic. I can really feel what it would be like to hug that big bird by looking at this. I've been kind of trying to loosen up my style as well... it's tough.. I'm such a control freak. lol... This has EXCELLENT contrast and flow. a
