Neato! Now why didn't this get a Mod's Choice? *Shakes fist at the modertors.*

2 Amanda Anne Martin replies: "I'm sure they have way too many great pieces to muddle through, and that it would seem impossible, to showcase them all."

I can see why! 2 You do it very very well! I love that dragon on the lid! Very nice colouring(burning?) too!

1 Amanda Anne Martin replies: "I see too many woodburnings that are very,(for lack of a better word) "drab". So I decided to break out of that trend and burst into richer, more vivid creations instead. I am very glad I did. It sets me apart."

The flowers are beautiful, and the dragon too! Altogether it's really good!! ^^ It's good to see art with different media once in a while on Elfwood~

11 Amanda Anne Martin replies: "I noticed that too. But I have always loved Melody Penas work and was thrilled to see her here. Her art is what inspires me!"

Wow, looks even more impressive from this angle!

11 Amanda Anne Martin replies: "Thanks a bunch! I'm glad you like it!"

Very, very impressive work! I want one to my room! :-P

I meet painters, feather-painters, writers, drawers, glassworkers etc. in the Woods, but never see a woodworker yet. This box-wood reminds me the antic furnitures before the 20th century. I saw a similar in my grandparents' house, but not... It was lustreless and rough. That's a new one? :-o

13 Amanda Anne Martin replies: "Thanks! The raw box was new when I found it. I then sanded it down, and began wood-burning it. It is the technique I used, to make it look ancient."

Amazing! You’re very talented--you have quite a bit of diversity in your gallery and I love that. The detail on this is so beautiful. Very Asian flavored--I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if I could.

:-) Amanda Anne Martin replies: "I am so happy you love it so! This chest is for sale, along with plenty of other works of mine. Please visit my website, I have lots of various arts available, AND more art posted there, that is not here! http://dreamingtreestudio.com PLEASE....Check it out!!!!"

Just amazing. The woodwork is brilliant and the Dragon rocks!!

:-) Amanda Anne Martin replies: "Thank you very much! It is still up for sale! Note me if you are interested! "

This is impressive on several levels, at least. Hats off for unlikely medium in your work, and of course, the smashing end result. Wouldn’t mind having one of those on my table. I wonder how much more grand it would’ve been if you’ve taken twice the time to drawing ornaments, green growth and such? Ah, one can always dream.

:-) Amanda Anne Martin replies: "Thank you! I’m a little confused on what you mean, but I embellished this piece with real gems, and on the sides there is some Green growth going on, the interior is decorated as well, including the underside."

I would say I’d use this as like....an epic-awesome-super-cool dice box for D&D.....but I think I might take on some draconic traits and horde it in my room, stroking it and mumbling Gollum’s phrase "my precious". Seriously the artwork of this is amazing.....it’s so brilliantly made, and you got it to look so ancient....it’s really very beautful

:-) Amanda Anne Martin replies: "It still is available at Etsy or even my personal site."

That’s great. Just wonder what treasure lies within *Peeks* OH! *Nicks it*

:-) Amanda Anne Martin replies: "Thank you! I miss that chest already."
