A lot of months have passed since my last visit to this gallery, so I think it's about time to upload something =).

This painting belongs to my second artbook Forgotten 2: The Portal of Destiny. It belongs to the story "Letters in the darkness", a tale about voodoo, haunted paintings and isolated victorian mansions in New Orleans. It was also featured as the cover of the book.

Done in photoshop back in 2008.

You can find info about the books, more paintings and even videos on my website: http://www.crisortega.com

Amazing incredible detail. How long would something like this take to do? And do you use a sketch or something that you paint over the top of? Or is it completely painted from scratch?
