 I made this mermaid as an experiment to see if I could make a 3d cake like the fairy one I did, but on a smaller scale. She is completely edible, hand sculpted entirely from cake and fondant free. She turned out a lot better than the fairy (A Birthday Wish) and so I named her Arienette, after a song by the band Bright Eyes. She has nothing to do with the song, I just thought it was a pretty name. :)
