Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword never saw this sword. :-) The guy is a werewolf warrior named Berenas and he's wielding a blade which may *just* be way too heavy for him. I might colour this soon. I'm wondering if the sense of weight from the sword is right? Helpful comments are most welcome!

It looks right but it might look better if he had a small vein popping out of his neck

Perhaps the tip of the sword should be cutting into the ground. Then it would look very heavy as even the ground is unable to heft it's weight.

As a mime, I learned that the number one rule for simulating weight is bent knees. When we had to pretend we were carrying a very heavy object, we had to bend our knees as if the object were pulling our bodies downward. So, just as a suggestion, perhaps if you ever redraw this picture you can bend his knees more. 1 Your picture made me chuckle. I actually have a picture in cue called "The Pen is Mightier."

Interesting picture, but he looks muscled enough and he probably should be able to wield a heavy sword. When the sword is too heavy for a guy like him, it mostly means that the balance is bad, not that he’s not strong enough (I mean, he should at least be able to lift it!). Also, I agree with bending his knees, it would definitely look better.
