Hi! I'll keep it short, for the unlikely few who do read it. I like: sci-fi and fantasy (obviously), LotR, The Legend of Zelda, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett... Japanese culture; films; playing (and coding) video games. Like a typical fantasy-geek I also like developing my own fictional world, which is growing quite elaborate. For more on that, see individual pic descriptions.
I graduated from university in summer 2004, with a BSc (Hons) Computing Science. Since then, all excuses for not updating this gallery have been flimsy. Seriously, I'll do it soon. I won't define 'soon', naturally.
Art-wise: I want to continually improve, and I enjoy myself immensely while doing so. I envy everyone here who invests lots of their time in doing art.

I have never met you, spoken to you or had any sort of contact with you in any way, but i think your art is the best on the whole of Elfwood Adam Crossan replies: "Oh, thanks Richard. I mean... complete stranger who isn't sitting next to me in the lab right now.... oops."

(Oh, and that shading isn't something I'm proud of, it's a bit messy - I'm glad you liked it though!)"

| 1 Nov 2001 | Adam Carden | Loading...Welcome to the woods and thanks for dropping by! Your work is particularly interesting and the High Elf with wings gives me a few new ideas I'd like to try. I also answered your question somewhat in my gallery. Until later. ~A Adam Crossan replies: "Thanks, man. This is a late comment, but I can still remember the picture you're talking about - it was that good!" | |
| 3 Nov 2001 | Laura Meng | Loading...Hey there, Just wanted to say that in your light manipulation pic - well, that was really effective. I hope you do more of those kind since you are very talented at that! Adam Crossan replies: "I have to disagree! It was all photoshop! Anyone can pull off flashy effects like that with the right programs! That's not what makes an artist. I'm still trying to greatly improve my own skills." | |
