SciFi and Fantasy Art Gimli by S. C. ´Raven´ Crump

Movie-verse Gimli attacking something (or someone) with his axe (most likely a very unfortunate Warg or Uruk-Hai, thought it might also possibly be Legolas, whom he is mad at for outscoring him at Helm's Deep...) This was part of an illustration I did for Cassie Claire's Very Secret Diaries, but as the mods rejected all the VSD art (darn the luck), I edited out the background and left Gimli as a stand-alone piece. I was too proud of this pic not to upload it in some form or fashion. I had no references for the most part, although I did look at the action figure for some of the gauntlet and axe details. The boots aren't finished, and probably never will be. Done with mechanical pencil.
