| I decided to change Garlind's colors from the previous Blue and Green to a Gold and Black mostly to reflect the closer relationship he now has with the Ravens. Garlind and the Raven King made a deal some time ago to support each other in increasing their own power and continue to bargain daily trying to increase their benefits. The Raven King keeps the other birds in line and ensures that they perform their duties to Garlind as his eyes and spies. While Garlind has the tough job of providing their countless numbers with shelter, food, and even jewlery. I know that ravens don't normally have red eyes but I wanted their eye color to reflect their loyalty to Garlind. So if you ever see a raven with red eyes watch out someone might be watching you. ^_~ Few! By the end of this piece I was utterly sick of coloring black. next time I'll be sure to pick a piece with more colore. Working with monochromatic colors, though, was at the very least some good practice work. ^_^()
