| 11 Aug 2004 | Xiaoyang Li | Loading...I love your style, which is kinda stained glass and mosaic like but with depth and perspective. Very colorful, and merrily so. Keep on good work. Jose Rafael CruzpaganIII replies: " Thank you very much! This one is actually my favorite of my latest bunch... I guess that might be becouse it has nostalgic value for me since the shark character used to be the head villain of my story long before Lord Baulter. ^_^ I love having lots of rich deep colores in my works and thus usually end up liking my brighter drawings more than the really dark ones. It makes it rather difficult for me to make a rather creepy atmosphear when I need it. Thanks again for your wonderful comments! ^_~" | |
| 30 Sep 2004 | Panther of the Night | Loading...O.O I'm sorry I just realized that's a shark. (I should really start reading the desribtions before I look at the picture) >^.^< Jose Rafael CruzpaganIII replies: "thats right a hammerhead shark! Though since hammerheads have a limited feild of vision I gave him extra visual sensors so that way no matter what direction he's facing he'll still know what your up to! Thanks again!" | |
| 30 Sep 2004 | Panther of the Night | Loading...Why isn't anyone commenting?!?!? This is amazing it's so dynamic! (I use that word alot You should make a comic book! I love your style!I really like the metal machine robot thingy, it's really cool! Thank you soooooo much for making such cool pictures! >^.^< Jose Rafael CruzpaganIII replies: "I was wondering that myself. ^_^ Maybe it's just to sci-fi? Though I don't see how that could be. -_- Thanks alot I really appreciate your comments! Just wait untill you see my next batch of drawings! ^_~" | |
| 2 May 2005 | Alia Honegger | Loading...This is funny for me because my name is Alia, and when I was living in Japan everyone called me Aria, plus I have a thing about sharks! I love the weirdness of this picture, and how you can't really tell outlines so much as movement. It sorta reminds me of Clive Barker's illustrations for the Thief of Always, no clue why though. Jose Rafael CruzpaganIII replies: " Wow I've never had any of my work compared to Clive Barkers before! ^_^ I've never actually heard of the comic your talking about untill just now, but seeing it now I think it must be the rows of sharp teeth that remind you of it. ^_^ I actually think now that this piece could use some more movement. ^_^() I tend to draw my lines too boldly so it looks a bit more like the a frozen moment in time rather than an epic high speed duel. ~_~ I'll do better next time though. ^_~ Oh Cool you've been to Japan! I'm really hoping to be able to go there too one day. I'd prefere to try and learn as much of the language as possible first though. Thank you so much for your awesome comments! ^_~" | |
| 5 Aug 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...Hey did u got inspired by Gunnm ?? a girl with new body, panzer and all that. Did you know that Gunnm has copyrights ? O_O Jose Rafael CruzpaganIII replies: "And I assure you that my work will break no copyrights. Panzer (The german word for armor) was the one that I think fitted best and most completly describes the form my cybernetic characters will take through out my story. " | |
| 6 Jan 2007 | Terri Lynn Stewart | Loading...Hell yeah she kicks a$$ could you stop by and see what you think of me stuff? Jose Rafael CruzpaganIII replies: "Hehe. ^_^
Aria has a unique ability in that she is capable of remembering and presicely replicating just about any physcal move imaginable.
While she might not be quite talented enough to link these moves together properly or always be capable of choosing the proper move given her situation it at least allows her to quickly adapt to a dynamically changing enviroment.
Initially this ability was used to teach Aria how to properly adapt to her new body, like walking, balance, and Dancing. Later on, though, she is able to incorperate those talents into a fierce combat style that has allowed her to bring the fight back to her persurers. ^_~
She still has alot to learn though. ^_^()" | |
