I've been doing a LOT of freelance illustration lately for various role-playing game companies. This is a cast line-up pic for an Egyptian-themed game showing the different species and occupations. From left to right, we have a desert gnome, a half-elf priest/scholar, an orc warrior, a dwarf blacksmith, a human soldier, a high elf noble and her halfling handmaiden. WOO!! I was *totally* surprised to learn that I'd won first place in the Empire of Sand contest! (I'd entered in February and, well, I've been busy!)
