"...And She Changes..." by Paul M Benjamin

This is for my new friends here on Elfwood, and too all you moon howlers out there.

In this story we find our character, we'll call her Emily, finally embracing that other side. Mother Moon has blessed Emily with a gift (or curse), the treasure of the Uratha. The rage becomes unleashed, and the pain can be read in her eyes. Behind it lays "a calm", a peace within one's self. It's a paradox. An odd combination, almost like she was seperate from her emotions. Unyielding rage on one side, and a warm inviting calm on the other. She argues these feelings to herself, over and over, and at the end she realizes. She just needs to let go, stop trying to hold on to them. The emotions ebb, and she now understands, this is who she is. Let it take hold, and she changes...
