Paul is my name, here is something about me. I live in my own realm in upstate NY. I'm in my 20's somewhere. I have to many degree's its getting confusing. I'm not an artist. I'm an emotional story teller. I find dark humor in everything, EVERYTHING. Right Vigo? "He is Vigo, you are like the buzzing of flys to him."

 

 

i like to stack books in wierd piles. I enjoy a good cigar. I've lived in 3 other countries. Climbed the Alps once. I'm a little crazy, only a little bit. Why does flamable and inflamable mean the same thing?

 

I'm a quiet but faithful beleiver. The son of an Irish Catholic and Russian Orthodox Christian. I go to church as much as possible. I do not promote nor advertise my faith, but it is a factor in my life. I practice the belief of Thomas Jefferson's view of religion (Thomas Jefferson was also the father of the constitutional right to freedom of religion)...he said "But I have ever thought religion a concern purely between our God and our consciences, for which we were accountable to him, and not to the priests. I never told my own religion, nor scrutinized that of another. I never attempted to make a convert, nor wished to change an other's creed. I have ever judged of the religion of others by their lives, for it is in our lives, and not from our words, that our religion must be read. By the same test the world must judge me."

I have self esteem issues... I'm ugly.

 

Some of my favorite other activities include skiing, boxing, hicking, swimming and just traveling. Living life sometimes is something I do outside of my world thats stagnant and complacent, my everyday drearyness of the darkness I call home. I've climbed the Alps. Been to the bottom of the sea when I was in the Navy. I love nature, nature walks and all the beauty nature is made of.

 

though my current gallery selection doesn't show it, I can work in any medium. This is the only thing I have in digital format. Just some crappy sketches and digital "splashes". I wish I had talent.

I know Latin, Russian and Italian.
 

I also enjoy playing on my bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, harmonica, piano. I am currently trying to learn the accordian and also I'm thinking I wanna get a violin. I also enjoy role playing games like Shadowrun, Star Wars, Warhammer, LOTR and D&D. What can I say, I'm a nerdamus maximus.

 

I am not a saint but i do my best. i have dreams and aspirations, some big some small, some realistic and some absurd. i am a wonderfully crafted paradox. i'm an oxymoron- a complexly simple person. i love music. i love movies. i'm a child. i am an adult. i wear my heart on my sleeve with the best of them, i stay true to it, it sometimes betrays me. i like the little things. i shave once every four weeks. i am aware and observant even when it seems like i'm not. i pretend to be a hardass sometimes. i love, a lot. sometimes i want to be held, and i think that is only fare anyway. i am obstinate. i have fears and not scared to share them. i am brave when i need to be. i dont mind being like a leader. i'm political as i am spiritual and faithful. i have convictions. i do have morals. i do make mistakes. i worry about my weight. i worry about losing my hair. i like pillows. and pillow talk. i think i'm creative. i think am a good friend. i'm genuine. i am fortunate. i live with no regrets. there are things i don't like to look back on, but i know they've brought me to this point just as much as the things i eagerly look back on. i've missed moments. i've lost my nerve more times than not. i've bit my tongue. i've had a kiss almost bring me to my knees. i like to see the good in people. i believe in people, its just some make it hard to. i like to be happy. i have loved and lost and have found myself better for it. i ramble on and on. i will talk enough for both us. i ask lots of questions and analyze everything. i think too much. i put my foot in my mouth. i'm a smile guy. i don't care what color your eyes are, just how they look at me. i'm predictably unpredictable. i am a handful. i am the good kind of no good. i'll take you as you are. i only ask the same. All I do is draw, draw, draw.

The Hannibal movies (Silence of the lambs, Hannibal, Red Dragon, Hannibal Rising), The Dark Knight, Horror flicks like the Jason and Freddy movies, Under The Tuscan Sun, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Snatch, A Scanner Darkly, Congo, Jurassic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean Series, Peter Pan, Emperor's New Groove, Cars, any Disney or Pixar flick really. Any movie involving vampires or werewolves like Underworld or Twilight or even Van Helsing I enjoy. The list goes on and on. I also enjoy on TV The West Wing, Family Guy, Scrubs, SeaQuest DSV, Fraggle Rock, Friends, The News, Sports, I enjoy watching a veriety of things.
