if you have time, please come and browse my gallery and please leave a comment,,,,. Holly 'Cupid' Fiore replies: "Wow! Thanks for the comment about ’Peter Pleasant’; not even my dad, for whom I wrote it as a Christmas present one year, said that it was ’terrifyingly good’. Although, he did say he liked it. In case you didn’t see yet, I checked out your gallery and left a comment on ’Luke and Kelly’. Thank you for reading, Sherwin!"

| 5 Jan 2010 | Reanne Sinclair | Loading...Hi Holly! Did you have a good new years? Holly 'Cupid' Fiore replies: "I certainly did, thanks for asking!
I originally wrote:
"I checked out your page; you must be new here, so I welcome you to Elfwood. Let me know when you upload new stuff, ’kay?
Thanks for dropping by!"
Excuse me... I didn’t realize you were an artist too. You just seem fairly new to me since I haven’t seen your name in my library before. I apologize. How long have you been an Elfwoodian, Reanne?
By the way, I like your name; t’s cool!"
| 6 Jan 2010 | Reanne Sinclair | Loading...Ah, I am relatively new to elfwood for being a member but I’ve been around here for a few years now, browsing.
Thanks! What nationality is Fiore from, it’s really interesting. Holly 'Cupid' Fiore replies: "Sorry for the late-ish reply... "Fiore" is Italian for "flower"... though I don’t have a drop of Italian blood in me.
My dad was adopted when he was a baby, and my Italian grandpa and his wife were his adoptive parents.
I’m black on my mom’s side. And her maiden name was Dutch. I don’t know what the first part of the name means, but the last part, "kill", means "creek"... On her mom’s side, the "Anderson" family, it dates way back to the 1700s or so down in the American South...
I’ve also been a browser on Elfwood for a long time. I started way back in 2001 when I first started getting interested in fantasy stuff. I was looking for fantasy art on Google and it led me here to Elfwood. I’m glad I found it. I feel a sense of belonging here; everyone here is just as weird as I am ...
It’s like my imagination: "I’m going to retreat into my own little world. It’s okay; they know me there..."
(I just love that quotation it’s so true...)
Anyway, thanks for visiting my page... make sure that if you read my work, you start with the Ethan Tamerlin tales. I’m still working on them though. There are supposed to be 12 when all is finished. "
| 8 Jan 2010 | Reanne Sinclair | Loading...I find people’s histories so interesting Maybe that’s why I enjoy fantasy so much and creating worlds and characters with lives all their own.
Yes, google was also what led me here. I was looking for pose references for a high school artwork piece and wound up on elfwood. And yes, it’s so comforting to know that everyone else here is just as harassed by their own muses and the voices of inspiration in their head as me. (love the quote)
I shall do so! Currently I have to get my next chapter roughed out but after that I hope to have some free time to read while it’s in the queue Holly 'Cupid' Fiore replies: "I plan on reading your work when I have the time. I’m looking forward to it."
