Blossoming billows of foul corruption

Red like the lust after which they were formed

Secretly swollen, the sore disruption

Voracious entities over which swarmed.

Demonic pleasure in this sick abuse

Voluptuous lips and dark, piercing eyes

Seductive smiles hide evil obtuse,

A mask of innocence founded by lies.

Nosferatu lies there, in churchyard grave

A coffin, a tomb, a sepulcher home

Curse these white beings who in darkness bathe,

In horror arise, and fly through the gloam.

If there ever a demon, stalked abroad,

It's this, who innocent lives do maraud.

This was a very excellent piece of poetry. I especially enjoyed the strong description of the Nosferatu, and the last line makes it sound as though he'll be the one to lurk in graveyards forever so that he can scare people and haunt their dreams. I hope I can read more good pieces like this!

ooo very spooky poem!! unfortunately I'm not exactly sure who nosferatu is, so i couldn't fully appreciate it. i loved the wide use of vocabulary you used to create meaningful rhymes and not ones with stupid words like 'day' and 'way'. i'd like to thank you, also, for visiting my page. i'll stop by to read more of ur stuff later, and answer ur comments on my page, but right now i've got a ton of hw and its late! 12

:-) Camilla 'Motone' Whitney replies: "Nosferatu is just a word meaning "vampire.""

Wow, so dark yet beautiful!

Very well done. And I like the picture too. They're exactly what I had envisioned. Kudos!

It's vague whether you love or loathe the demons you write about. I like that. It's what a vampire should be, equal parts desire and disgust. Very nicely done. I really must try to figure out how to put illustrations in my library.

:-) Camilla 'Motone' Whitney replies: "It's true... I'm torn... Oh the conflict!"

Excellent poem, but I'm beginning to see that your poems are usually excellent. Why are female vampires always so busty? I suppose it's to distract the unsuspecting victims.

:-) Camilla 'Motone' Whitney replies: "So you liked my craptaculous picture... ha ha... I'm gonna recolor it soon... probably change it a bit... Female vamps are that way by default. I mean, if they're not hot, then they won't get any guys to nibble. These three are based off the three in Dracula. Thanks for liking it."

Hmm... interesting. ^_^ And I must say, that’s a fun pic. How did you get it on the story? *big puppy eyes* I haven’t been able to figure that out... *tears brim* Oh most noble one who possesses knowledge this poor muffin does not... *fawns at your feet* Did you put it in with Word, or was it something you did on the extranet, or some strange and wonderful html code...? *hugs your legs* I would love you forever if you’d tell me... Or at the very least, I’d detach myself from your legs for the mere price of this knowledge...

:-) Camilla 'Motone' Whitney replies: "Leg detachtation works for now... ^_^ It's a strange and wonderful HTML code. It's been explained somewhere else, but not fully, so now's as good a time as ever. This is how I do it, I'm sure other people have other ways.

First I take the story that I want and save it as a web page in word. This is just to make it an .htm file. Then, from explorer, I right-click on the file and open it in Notepad. It's in a whole lot of crappy confusing html that really doesn't need to be there. So I delete all that and copy the text of the story in. The problem is that now I have to re-do all the html. So you start with and all the lovely or possibly quite possibly / where there's paragraph breaks and all that. When you get to the point where you want to stick in a picture, you do this: (of course, excluding the spaces by the brackets). Just make sure the filename of the picture is what you put in the html, then upload the picture as well, and it should all work out. And of course, end the story with in case you didn't know that already ^_^

There you have it. Now... please detach..."

*looks at you with big, teary eyes* ...I love you so very much, you don't even know... *huggles*

:-) Camilla 'Motone' Whitney replies: "Excellent... Muahahahah... *taps fingertips together* Now with Muffin loving me, there isn't much farther to go before I (dare I say it?) RULE THE WORLD!"

:-) Camilla 'Motone' Whitney replies: ""The name of Nosferatu strikes terror into the people the know it... you must not say the name aloud..." Hehe, I watched that show last night.

But it's better than 25 cent floozies, at any rate."

I always liked the three vampires in Dracula's castle. They were so... down-to-earth.

Wormy. But good. Hey, I like your poems!

:-) Camilla 'Motone' Whitney replies: "Yeah, those crazy hussies."
