Golden eyelash viper dragon

This small, rear-fanged, arboreal dragon uses its wings mainly for gliding, and its two legs to propel it through the trees. Second in a series - anyone have ideas for more venomous dragons? *Edit - look at the nice highlights and shadows now!

Very interesting concept. You've done a fantastic merger of the two creatures. Your understanding of anatomy and skill at manipulating it is really obvious in this series you've started. Fantastic job.

Lovely. 2 I have a certain interest in biology, and to see a mythical creature drawn so accurately, with such attention to detail, gives me a thrill. All those tiny scales! I'm looking forward to seeing more venemous dragons like this from you, keep it up!

:-) Cynthia Lane Armstrong replies: "Glad you like him. There's another one in the works that I've just been slow with, based on a Gaboon viper."

This is a very inovative piece, this yellow dragon with the snake-like head. I'm surprised no one mentioned that the head looks like an Eyelash Viper's..was that your inspiration? It's beautiful.

this is really cool. you have my compliments. I think your dragon-based-on-poisonous-snake idea is very origenal, and I think it would be really cool if you did a coral snake dragon. wouldn' that look neat?

Your Arboreal Dragon looks great.Perhaps an Ice -Dragon could be your poisonous reptile of choice. It's venom turns people into Ice statues slowly and surely.Or Maybe the Chameleonis Draconis Majora(The Chameleon Dragon). It hides against Screes and outcrops and when its prey comes along ,slam!!! It deadly tail spines fly into it's prey.

Eyelash viper... Dragon... Oh, the art, the perfect art you make! I am so in love with this. How about doing a temple viper, or a parrot snake, or perhaps the barely, mildly venomous hognose. And, although it is not venomous, a corn snake would look fab like this. I am such a fan!
