SciFi and Fantasy Art Shift by Cynthia Lane Armstrong

This one was a lot of fun to draw - I sketched a rough outlines first, and the rest was the red pen. I've done plenty of pictures of Jax in his 'humanoid' form, and a few of his dragon form, but this is the first 'in-between' picture - a shot of the actual shift. He goes from being a very big man to being a gigantic dragon, so the size-change hasn't really happened yet in this picture. ~ I got this made into a mug on my DeviantArt site and it looks fabulous ^..^ ~

How did you figure out the anatomy of the person/thingy? It's really cool, and I think the lines that sort of come out make it look realistic, sort of like it came onto the paper and froze. Great Job!
