Fine tuning how you use line intercepts for dynamics, depth, shape and form will give your art a whole nother appeal. The mind loves to see symmetry, Medieval Europeans thought it was the symmetry of the body, a 1 to 1.6 perportional scale applicable to everything, that gave harmony to the universe. Let it work for you, be sure to incorperate shadow with your line. But a complete, obscure lack of symmetry shocks the mind. So also use line to focus the eye from that disfunctioned haze. I admire your style, the talent that you have. Like the voice of a writer showing through their work, you're personality brings out every aspect of potential and beauty if your art. | |
| 17 Dec 2002 | Simpson Fan | Loading...I love The Simpsons. The quote is "No one EVER suspects the butterfly." Another great one is, "And that's where I saw the leprechaun, he told me to burn things." Humans aren't hard, you've got to practice. I've been drawing them since I was little. I can't draw dragons. | |
