I’ve checked out your gallery, you have potential.
Like they say, "The more you practice, the better you become."
As suggested by Omid, concentrate and study more on human anatomy, and perhaps some animals as well. The "Mysterious Lady" is a good start.
Basic shapes gives you more understanding of form and hence making it look more 3D. I suggest going for the Mysterious Lady approach, just sketch and stick with basic shapes for now. Train your eyes for proportion mistakes.
Later you can go on messing around with perspective, foreshortening, adding details and etc.

Almost everything has changed about it, except the basic storyline and the characters. You’ll see some new faces, though, since new people popped into my head and I added them in.
And, I am going to upload new chapters after the mods have approved my updates. I said I wouldn’t, but I changed my mind. This way, a few nasty cliffhangers that I left will get erased. | |

Robert Nygren replies: "I have been trying to improve on my skills but it’s going slow. I’ve got a few new pictures but I don’t really feel that they are elfwood qualtity yet. I’m also working on redoing some of my old pictures. It will be a while until I upload anything but when I do, I’ll let you know. " | |
