SciFi and Fantasy Art Arena by Rhiannon C. Piper ´Daggermaiden´

This is from one of the most realistic dreams i have ever had!
it is an arena for the five ruling magic fractions of the world (in a alternative reality) some are better at magic than others and some are better at fighting (fighting with swords and hand combat) anyway all 5 fractions are equal in rule and this is where the large metings are held and the leaders of each fraction and the highter ranked are seated on the seating on the pertruding platforms that eventually meet in the center, only the leaders and those hand picked by their leaders can ascend to the central platform, to talk to the fractions or single combat against another fraction champion to put through a point or to defend there honer. the central platform is approximately 8 storeys above the floor of the arena to give a bit of scale to this and there are stairs with perspex covers rising above each segments seating going up 5 storys (there are living quarters for the fractions and smaller meeting areas surrounding the arean). The arena floor its self is where large combats take place and where prisoners or captaves of uprisings are taken for the fractions to decide there fates or to fight over if one fraction has captives of another fraction (many people come under the protection of a high ranking fraction leader and they can fight to give them freadom if they got in trouble with another fraction), i could go on but i wont for now but do ask questions (i did say it was a realist dream) and i must add that i have not really drawn many structures before so all comments would be apreciated.

14 Mar 2006	Trevor Mathis	Loading... The curve of the arena is good on the sides but a tad lopsided. the right side of the picture iw what I'm pointing out. The wall between the audience seating and the arena floor seems to get smaller the farther right it goes. But really that's the only area that seems to need any work, other than that it's a great structure, if a little sparse for detail. I like the windows. I know how hard it can be to do structures properly when they're curved like that so you definately did a great job. Rhiannon C. 15 Mar 2006	Melanie 'Coffee Goddess' Wood	Loading... I want a cookie. Oh, I must comment first. Very interesting angle you drew here. Must have taken some time, eh? I'd have scrapped this after the first erase and just drawn a horse. But, you are to be commended on your patience, that's for certain. I agree with the above comment, just a little work on the right side. I think it'd be pretty cool if you had some beasties on the floor duking it out over a piece of cheesecake or something. May I have a cookie now? Rhiannon C. Piper 'Daggermaiden' replies: "cool hands over the cookie! well i scetched it roughtly out about 4 mounths ago (or maybe longer) and only drew over it again a few weeks ago, it was jus one of those drawings that nag at you to draw them!"
