SciFi and Fantasy Art Ducks three!! by Rhiannon C. Piper ´Daggermaiden´

Well these are one of two sets of pictures I did whilst I was on holiday on a canal (in a narrow boat) I can’t take all credit for the basic idea, my friend started it whilst watching the ducks and saying how funny it would be if as we were watching the ducks one of them suddenly just disappeared under the water!! Well as you can guess this then started a whole load of ideas and here they are!!!

18 Sep 2005	Melanie 'Coffee Goddess' Wood	Loading... Uh-oh. Donald's in a heap of trouble. That last one though: is he swallowing the monster's tentacle while the other is grabbing his foot? Poor duck. To swallow a whole monster. Seems awful large. However will he get all of it in his stomach? Rhiannon C. Piper 'Daggermaiden' replies: "well that one is suppose to be fighting back in a sort of Martial art move thing, just so the duck lovers can have one duck left, and i am still not sure whether or not there are many monsters or just one??! (sorry LOTR diversion again, incase you didnt pick up on it the monster in front of Moria in the lake sorry!!)) "
19 Sep 2005	Bloodhawk	Loading... Look at Donald go! He's seems to be delivering a karate chop to Mr Squiddy on the end there...My money's on the duck... I do like the way you've drawn the Donald here Rhiannon, especial his foot grasping Squiddy and his drowning expression. Wonderful! Rhiannon C. Piper 'Daggermaiden' replies: "tehehehe i just like them!! my money is on the monster (he already has 5 ducks!!) sorry i am lost have you named my ducks the 'Donald species' or something??! a special breed of ducks the die in hilarious ways when feed to a sea monster!!! "
30 Sep 2005	James 'Jimbo Fett ' Inwood	Loading... I word of warning: ducks have rounder more softer looking beaks than the ones you've drawn - the ones you've drawn look more suited to a small bird. Love the colouring though and the expression on their faces. Has a strange desire to go feed the ducks in his local pond. Rhiannon C. Piper 'Daggermaiden' replies: "hangs head in despair* i am sorry the beaks i forgot about the beaks,gets over it thanks for letting me know, i love feeding ducks in a pond its great fun!! (the more you feed them during the years the fatter they are when you want to eat them!) "

Ah yes, surely the brave webbed-footed one shall prevail! is a duck-admirer, through and through I used the raise ducks, you know.. had my own mini farm going, yep... Muscovies, they were... marvellous birds. I've since switched to pigs... ducks think I've betrayed them.. which I guess I have, the swine! I mean... the birds! Anyways... I love the expressions you've managed to capture on the three duck-billed ducks... they're quite believable! I feel sorry for the one under the water.. it's quite hopeless for him. At least the one on the far right seems to have a fighting chance. GO DUCKY! nice colouring, too! Rhiannon C.
