Well this is one brave rider, they stole a horse that was for the apocalypse i tried to get it to look like deaths horse (though it could be that the horse was sold if death really does decide to get a motorbike, 'Good Omens' is a great book!l) either way its a brave rider to even get on the horse, let alone jump it over a cross-country course!

anyway this is my first attempt (well nearly) in using photoshop 7 for a photomanip  i know tis a bit obviously a photoshoped photo but i quite like it and i wanted to know what everyone else thinks.

The photo is taken by me and i give myself permition to use it!

AHahahaha! I love the cold flames and fire-like stuff.

If you liked the horsemen in Good Omens you should read "Thief of Time" I can't recommend that book enough.

There seems to be two types of 'obviously photoshopped' pieces, however. The good quality, and the bad. You *can* tell that this has been photoshopped, yes, but that doesn't subtract from the quality at all. The image is crisp, clean, and blends with the backdrop really well. It doesn't look out of place at all, unlike many which often do...you've done a fantastic job! The flames give a real sense of movement, plus the horse is plain beautiful. I'd love a horse.

Great job here Rhix! ^.^ Love it.

thanks Ems its good to know that a good odviously photoshoped image can be done 12
the hourse and rider dont look out of place because they wer in the original photo, i just have loades of layers of the same photo with bits erased and difrent effects added, which i think helps to keep it all spaceally conected (oo i like that description i will have to use it in my A2 journal sometime ;D)"

Oh my gosh! He seared a hole through the bushes and everything! The gardner's not going to like this.

1 Rhiannon C. Piper 'Daggermaiden' replies: "Nope the gardners furious alright!! hes gone to get the shotgun nd has a nasty glint in his eye!

i suggest we all run!"

That is some excellent photomanipulation... has a kind of surreal feel! Like the new colors a lot!

Good job! Especially since you are new at it- certainly does not look like beginner’s work. However, I hope not to see this fellow any time soon! I have seen other renditions of "The Pale Horse" but I like your take on him. Usually the grim Reaper or a skeleton is depicted as the rider. This one is a little more cheerful, but again, do not wish to make his acquaintance.
