	This is an oil painting, painted on a metalic spray painted board....complicated process that involves a few chemicals. Based on a Friesian horse. Friesian horses originaly come from Holland and beside the Bard, Arabian ( Northern Africa and Arabian penisula) and Andalusian, Lusitano, ( Spain and Portugal) are the original 'crusader's ' horses........

Love the technique too, it makes for an increadible background. Lately it seems like all I’ve been able to find on Elfwood are pics done on some computer painting software or another. It’s good to know that there are still people who paint by hand. Although this has been said by nearly every commentor to walk the earth, I shall say it again: keep up the good work!
