Inge Dagmar Manders

Inge is a horsebreeder/artist that loves drawing and painting the real and not so real and gets her inspiration from what she sees around her.

 

 

I have always painted and drawn from a very early age, with the main subject being and still is horses and cats. I have traveled all over the world and where I live at the moment (a beautiful farm with 2 waterfalls, in the Natal Midlands of South Africa)has again inspired me to paint those mythical beasts that I so wish were a reality. I always say that if Pegasus was realy......I'd have the first winged horse stud. But alas, I have to settle for the no less noble Arabian and Friesian Horse. Both used in the past as war mounts. I have only recently started painting again, as the stud was keeping me to busy, so expect to see a lot of art work in the near future. For now I have only scetches of the sureal (drawn many years ago ) and paintings of the slightly more mundan. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do making it.
