An other (poor) inking. I´m still trying to figure out how to do those nice shading effects that are seen so often. Please give me some constructive advise on the horses, I need all help I can get. It´s so hard to get their legs right, and the rest too.

WOW! *does the first comment dance* This is really nice I especially like the background. The horses look nice. a little small for horses unless you were looking for a pony type thing...Nope, I wasn´t, so I´ll keep that in mind ´till the next time I draw a horse (once a year). Thanks for the advice, and your kind comment.

Cursed beasts are awfully tricky to get right. And since I've not succeeded yet, I'll withold any comments on that. Actually, no. Scratch that. I'm going to applaud you on a job well done, so blah. Ponies? No! A stocky mountain breed...er. I ramble. It's well done, and I can only suggest research into horses necks/legs. They're the crux of the matter when it comes to convincing horsiness, I've found. Thanks for the advice. You´re absolutly right, legs and necks... they never get right. I´ll do a deep research on that.

If you look on the FARP page, there's an article about drawing horses, and two on inking. I've found the inking ones really useful, but I don't like horses so I've never tried to draw one.Thank you, that´s a good idea. I defenitly will.

Wonderful!!! The gait is slightly off on both horses. The right horse's cheek should come down lower a bit too... You might want to get some pictures of horses and just sketch them 2 That's always a good way to improve, and looking at real ones doesn't hurt either. Overall its a great picture and the horses are drawn well. I like it a lot 2Thank you for helping me out. Gait? what is that *grabs dictionary* Oh, right. I guess it could hurt too look at real ones... if you get too close, and their in a bad mood!

It isn't a poor inking at all. It is very reminiscent of Moebius' work. I think its a great style, and I hope you keep practicing with this style.Thank you. I´m not familiar with Moebius, but I´m sure that was a great compliment!

This is a superior inking to what I've seen from many people who claim to know what they are doing. If you want to branch out in your inkwork, try some different techniques such as hatching, cross-hatching, positive-egative, and variable line weight. I personally prefer a positive-negative approach to inking, as it makes your work look surgically clean and blueprint precise. The key is practice, and don't be afraid to screw up. Believe me, not everything I draw ends up on EW. Good work, Rock on, HUA!

Hey, I love this picture...I struggle a lot with horses myself and it's been just recently that I've been pleased with one of mine. Keep working on it though, do some research and you'll get it. I like the inking technique as well, it reminds me a little of "The Chronicles of Narnia" keep it up.
