wonderful style- i do like cross hatching, probably why i am an edward gorey fan, but i just cant do it. i love her hair too, reminds me a bit of Nausferatu, or at least one version of the film- but i prefer her hair to his, tis less severe.

:-) Milla Impola replies: "Thank you for a nice comment! Hehe wish I had a hair like this2"

Ah, yes. Klimt. It really reminds me of Klimt's art nouveau....which, of course, is preety awesome.

:-) Milla Impola replies: "Glad you like it! It really took quite a long time to do, but I did other things at the same time too. Klimt? Never heard, maybe I should check it out."

I love your style in this picture. The background is great. It must have taken you ages! It almost looks to me like an illustration for a strange, interesting book. 1

1 Milla Impola replies: "Hehee thanks! I don't even think it took so long time, it's really quite small picture. About the size of CD cover. Heh, wonder what kind of book would that be.."

I love the detail and intesity of the background design. The line work is excellent! It kind of reminds me of "starry night" by vincent van gogh. You did an excellent job on this piece.

3 Milla Impola replies: "Vincent van Gogh? Wow... That's great if this really remids about his starry night..
Thank you very much!"

This is my favourite in your gallery! It really stands out. It's so unique, and full of magic. I love the touch of colour.

wow! this picture really reminds me of clive barkers illustrations in his Arabat books. it is awesome, good work!

1 Milla Impola replies: "Thanks! But once again I'm a little bit confused.. Almost every time someone says "this reminds me of.." I have no idea who is this person that my pics are reminding of1 Heh, maybe I'll go and check out about that Clive Barker guy1"

How did you do the background? Only blue ink?
Really like it that the background is kinda mozaïk-thingy and abstract too, never seen such thing 2
She has to get some sleep really... why can't vampires be outrested-looking ^.^... like her alot

:-) Milla Impola replies: "Thanks! I've done this with 2 really thin markers, black and blue. First I did it quite ready with black marker and then added a little color everywhere2 "
