This is the earth goddess of the dimension of Alerona.  It's a place I invented, a world where my friends and I RP.  The earth goddess is a semi-active character of mine.  Sketched in my sketchbook with paper, then inked, stippled with fine-tipped sharpies (that's right, sharpies, lol) and scanned.  In this particular picture, the goddess is in her winter incarnation.  The vines of her hair and body are dead or dying, but still show a hint of green because of their proximity to the life-giving power of the goddess.  In spring, she'll be covered in billions of flowers...every kind of flower that ever has or ever will exist.  So...that'll probably never get drawn, because it's so complex.  In summer, the flowers will be gone, replaced by verdant leaves of every plant species that ever was or ever will be.  In fall, the summer leaves will turn fall colors.  Her summer and fall incarnations are the most common ones I draw...'cause...they're easy...

Cliche' pointy-eared seminude elf with cliche' *very* overexaggerated eyes and hair.

:-) Amanda Hosler replies: "She's NOT an elf. Nor is she semi-nude. She's made of rocks, earth and plants. She's not human, and doesn't have a body, per-se. She merely takes on a human-like form when dealing with human-like creatures. And since I presume anyone looking at this picture will be "human-like", that is how you would see her. And her hair and eyes are not "overexaggerated." Her hair is made of vines. And since this drawing is anime-style, OF COURSE her eyes will look the way they do. Thank you very much. >.>"

Pointed ears? I don't see any ears at all, let alone pointed! What a stupid thing to say...calling her an elf. She looks nothing like an elf!

Mef, I like it, Manders. I think you did a good job. Are you going to do her other incarnations too?

:-) Amanda Hosler replies: "Aaaah, thanks Cheshy. You're a good friend! ^.^And yeah, I'm planning on doing 2 more incarnations. I'm not motivated enough to do the Spring one! XD"

Her eyes ARE kinda overexaggerated. And they're like...looking in opposite directions. Also, winter? Wouldn't she be all snowy or something?

:-) Amanda Hosler replies: "The eyes are exaggerated, but not OVER-exaggerated. Because that's the STYLE it was drawn in.Snow is water. So no, she shouldn't be snowy. Just the plants on her would be dormant."
