| 17 Jul 2010 | Amy Luigia Clare | Loading...wow - I really like your gallery and I can see a lot of influences in your work from other artists that I am a huge fan of too, like jasmine and selina. Great gallery I really enjoyed looking through Terra Marie Bidlespacher replies: "Thank you very much I know of Jasmine But do you mean Selina Fenech She was the first google result for Selina art I wasn’t familiar with her works?" | |
| 18 Jul 2010 | Amy Luigia Clare | Loading...Hey - Yes I did mean Selina Fenech - see the pirate mermaid! Maybe just a coincidence but any way you should check out her site as her work is beautiful! Terra Marie Bidlespacher replies: "To me the mermaids would be more like scavengers why not use the ship remains, net and flags for clothing or ornaments... and of course take the treasure it was only a natural concept for me. They are one of my favorites to portray this is my first larger scale piece including one everything has been ACEO. I believe i have seen her pirate mermaid on Ebay (same way I found out about Jasmines) now that I look at it, it is familiar. I never really was very active in the art community so I don’t know of many other artists but I’m finding all sorts of new artists this last year now that i am getting out of my bubble again. Bytheway, her works are beautiful. " | |
