| 17 Sep 2005 | Angela Perry | You are much, much too modest. Your work has such individuality! So much on Elfwood is beautiful, yet it doesn't stand out in any way. Yours has its own style and beauty. I agree; time to come out of the closet *grin* Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "I've never been accused of having style before. Thank You! " | |
| 17 Sep 2005 | Samuel E Martens | Yor work is a very colorful but in an efective minimalist kind of way. You should think about illustrating your own book. Your work really is quite good. It's time you came out of the closet. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "I really don't have anything in the way of plans for my stuff. I'm just trying to get the stories I'm writing good enough for my boys to read them. They've never made it past the second chapter. I did get a surprise the last time my youngest was home from college, he actually wanted one of my pic's to put up on his wall. There is no better compliment than that. " | |
| 17 Sep 2005 | Kerri L Blumer | as Jasna mentioned before, you use color very well! you also have a very good sense of composition, and i really like the characters you've created. good work! Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "Thank you for the kind comments. I usually work mostly with a combination of blending chalks and watercolor pencils. I like forgiving mediums that allow for all the mess ups I tend to make." | |
| 19 Dec 2005 | Brian Rich | Hello again, Patricia. I've read all your stories so I thought I'd hop over and comment on your art. You are multi-talented! I agree that you have a personal and individual style. I left a comment by all your entries but a couple really stood out for me. I dabble in art a little. I enjoy all sorts of creative outlets. I hope to post some art from my Jesslyn Stormheart series sometime in the future. Thanks for sharing the other side of your talents. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "Be sure to let me know when they go up. I can't wait to see them." | |
| 19 Apr 2007 | Richard Svensson | I love your concept of mermaids, and your bunnyfly! Very colorful and imaginative stuff here. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "It's too bad I don't have artistic talent to match the imagination, but I still enjoy playing around. If you pop over to the story shelf, you'll find a short chapter (page and a half / two pages) titled, Mertail's Secret, that gives a little more insight into my mermaids." | |
| 26 Feb 2008 | John R Farley Jr | Hi there, thanks for stopping by my gallery. You have some nice pictures here with lots of imagination! Keep it up. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "Boy, when you visit a gallery, you really drop in for awhile. Thanks!" | |

| 22 Jul 2008 | John R Farley Jr | So you got some shots of fireworks and all you got were streaks. Are you using a film camera or digital? It sounds like you have the idea, now all you need to do is practice with the shutter speed or size of the apature, if it’s film. Also, for film, you may want to try 400, 800, and even 1,000 speed. The kicker is, if the film is too fast ( higher number) it might actually under expose and look foggy. You also want to keep the camera as steady as possible with a tripod. If it’s a digital camera, you need to play around with the light settings. Mine has an indoor flash setting and an outdoor available light setting. Patricia M. DŽAngelo replies: "It’s just a digital, and I don’t know much about it except aim and click. I really ought to take a class because it’s something I think I would enjoy.
The fireworks didn’t come out, but I really love the strange effects I ended up with. I need to learn a program for photo manipulation because I’m sure some niffty effects could be made from them. " | |
