Yay! It's my short lion-anthro. priest, Leon! He's so quiet and doesn't talk much, but I still like him.
Why is he holding a candle while wearing a blindfold? Well, Leon usually wanders around in the underground hallways of the temple helping anyone that got lost down there back up. He rarely goes above ground during the day because his eyes are very sensitive (Yes he can see). He wears the blindfold for protection and so no one will look him in the eyes. Anyways, back to the quesiton. The candle is there to assure the other people that someone is there to help them see their way through the darkness. Although I think sometimes just seeing Leon illuminated by the candle in the dark hallways scares them off, which gets them more lost...

Done in pencil. 1/2003

Very nice rendering of the flame and its light. I think this one has really pushed your shading to a new level. The contrast is also great. More like this!

:-) Danny J. Men replies: "Thanks. Gotta love deep dark shading. ^_^"
