I love your work but with this one, I can't help but think that you stuck that thing in the middle to cover up her hand, like your trying to hide it. It's the only thing that I don't like about it, the colours though are wonderful.

Anon - the crossed arrows on the shield she is holding with her unseen hand are associated with Neith - who also is associeted with Athena - long story - see Robert Graves "White Goddess". Not sure how the Pleiades (the 7 sisters) figures in, I’ll have to re-read the old myths. Some of the new age groups associate the Pleiades with various convergences and entry into a new age. Might have to do with that. Whatever, its a beautiful picture. Love the spiraling, cascading stars.
