SciFi and Fantasy Art Green Elf by DARRAN L. SIMS

This is a picture of a Gloranthan Green elf from 'Hero Wars'. Elves or Aldryami are a species that belong to the vegetable or plant kingdom. This means that elves are closely related to their trees and grow eveything they need including their weapons. I tried to emphasize its plant nature by puting in grain-like lines closely following the muscles and making its hair leaf-like. Its eyes are blank single colour. Its Elf-Bow is a living plant which helps it to fire its arrows. Paper and pencil.

12 Jan 2002	Marcus	Loading... This is a great picture! The shading, the musculature etc. Just one thing: the arm reaching for the arrow does seem a little bit out of perspective - like it doesen't really streches bakwards like it should for it to get hold of the arrow.

Elven are known as a clean, slim, beautiful, smart, intelectualy high performance... beside their long ears, elven eyes (better see in the dark ability), and their nature as a good hunter... I'm sorry, but I am an elven characters fanatic, I always play elven character in every games that have an elven character... ^_^ Your drawing is good the shading are good too... but (sorry) I don't like it... It's scary... Elven should be the most beautiful creatures in the world ever... thats the legend says!
28 May 2004	Ratbastard	Loading... This is a Gloranthan elf, and gloranthan elves aren't typical elves what you can find in most of fantasy books nowadays.
