| 14 Jun 2002 | Kulbongkot Chutaprutikorn | Loading...this picture is excellent. I can see that you are a very patient man to draw that background. You actually pay as much attention to the background as well as the two men in front. I could never do that. I'd be like "ahhhh who gives a sh*t"and not draw anything after i drew the main people in the front | |

| 16 Jun 2002 | David Mitchell | Loading...Benny is the short talkative guy who thinks he knows everything while Larson's the tall sensible guy who understands restraint. On page one of the thread Benny has a rather embarassing encounter with Grock, which is later out-done by a truly hilarious discussion of time traveling paradoxes intertwined with a pratical joke he pulls on both Larson and Star on pages 150 to 154 (I think).
Anyway, here they're seen as I usually imagine them: Larson rolling his eyes while Benny goes off explaining why the Sign of One is the best faction in Sigil, why he thinks Factol Darius would be better in bed than Erin Montgomery, or a long extended monologue about the nature of the multiverse and how it's exactly as he imagined it to be.
The Civic Festhall in the background (which is 750 feet across and 1,000 feet tall) is taken from The Factol's Manifesto while the other buildings in the foreground were inspired from some of the illustrations in Dinotopia (hmmm...I didn't add James Gurney to the list...why not?). | |
| 17 Jun 2002 | Ann Amedyr Wright | Loading...Ahh, the Civic Festhall... home, to us Sensates... Very nice crowd in the background, cutter! I can even see the tieflings and bariaurs, heh! | |
