Nice round shapes which makes a woman look like a woman. A background always adds to the atmosphere so I definitely advise you to keep that up. I don't think the perspective is correct, but explaining here would be a little too complex. It's not very disturbing though, just a technical note. I like those Giff's too. But weren't they more the type for arquebuses and piracy? No matter, things could be very different in the city of doors. Great picture, I'm waiting for more. David Mitchell replies: "If you haven't seen Heavy Metal, go out and rent it. This entire sequence in the game was paying homage to the cult classic. I chose Giff because they so strongly resembled the animalistic guards featured in the 'Den' sequence (plus they're weird enough to look at home in Sigil), and the desgin for Larae is based on the look of Alfonso Aspiri's women. This guy draws some extraordinary and fluid pictures with great stories behind them. The look of Larae, Grock (and that pic of him bashing in the head of an assassin) were based on an Aspiri story featured in the January 2000 issue of Heavy Metal. " | |
