Notice, however, that I say "a bit" because it that's a very difficult angle to draw from (I wouldn't even attempt it, myself) and it you did pull it off very well. Also notice that I say "seems," because things often don't look like you would expect them to when they are viewed at strange angles, so it might actually be perfect, and so seems imperfect to me. What I think specifically looks off to me is the fact that her face can be seen as though she were looking straight at the viewer, which makes one expect to see her body straight on as well, unless her head were tilted backwards and she were looking up, which it doesn't appear that it is. It's a very good drawing, though. David Mitchell replies: "This is not a bird's eye veiw. Star is charging forward, and that is where we are standing. Though being an elven female, she isn't the tallest person you'd meet in Sigil. Hence, we are looking down on her (this is from the point of view of a human assassin). Her head and shoulders appear closest to us and so is the blade of her off-hand short sword (and hence why it is exaggerated). As her right shoulder is raised slightly, we can see she is about to strike with the longsword in her right hand. " | |
