I am so excited & proud of this painting. I think it is my best painting to date. When I started to draw & paint back in high school, it was of vampires, not fairies, or goddesses, just vampires. I loved gothic themes & I still do. One of my favorite movies is Bram Stoker's Dracula & I always loved how erotic the female vampires were in that movie. So I guess this is my depiction of an exotic vampire that can just lure you in with her beauty & mystique. There is blood dripping off of the roses, vines & from the corner of her mouth. You can see the glints of her white fangs set behind her luscious red lips. The blood also courses through the veins of the leaves...a subtlety that only the detail images show.

This is a dark & erotic portrait of a vampire titled "Blood Roses". I painted it using oil paints on an 8x24 inch canvas.
