SciFi and Fantasy Art Confessor by Deanna Davoli

I was really happy with the outline of this painting, the sketch, but I am not completely happy about the color. I do not like the way her eyes came out at all, and since that is a focal point, I guess that is why I am not crazy about it. I am learning how to use photoshop so I plan on working with the sketch in that medium. I also have another idea for her, so check back to see her transformation. Watercolor on paper 9 x 12 inches

I really like your style and I noticed that you really like those wings I see them coming back in every drawing well almost every picture... I can't believe that this is truly a drawing every drawing is perfectly detailed hahha hey would you like to mail etc... with me?? 7 Jan 2010	Jeanette M Thomas	Loading... The eyes came out beautifully as a focus point with regard to the name "Confessor" - which I presume was inspired by the TV show "Legend of the Seeker". Deanna Davoli replies: "thank you. I was actually very unhappy with her eyes & something with her face, so this piece was more practice than anything. Actually the confessor type of character that I had in mind if from a book titled "Wizards First Rule". She is not a particular character from the story, she just represents a type of special power that some of the people in the book have."
