| 29 May 2006 | Iris F. Houten | Loading...wow, i love it! it's really good. BTW, to explain the name Circe that Struggling Artist said: Circe was a witch or that lived on the island Aeaea. she changed some of Odysseus' (i don't know how that name is in English)man in pigs with poisoned wine. After hearing that Odysseus went to Circe and threat her with his sword. Circe freed Odysseus an Odysseus married with her for one year. then he went away again to come back in his land Ithaka...but it would take ten years before he finally was back by his wife and his kingdom! So, this was the history lesson for today! Beautiful pic! Deanna Davoli replies: "Thank you so much for the history lesson, it so cool to hear where the name originated from and who that character was. Thank you also for commenting, glad you liked the picture!!" | |
