This painting expresses my sadness at the amount of seal pups killed brutally for fur every year.

The moment I saw that darling little fuzzy creature on your thumbnail image, I thought of the poor pups that get slaughtered.

So much expression in that beautiful mermaid's face--it comes across quite clearly.

awwwwwwwwwwwwww thats so sad......*sniff* how could people kill seal pups, for just fur!!!!! they’re are so cute and adorible.......it’s cruel....most people only care for themselves...i hate it....it’s the rare few that care and give their lives for others.........people are so selfish....oh sorry...i love this picture!!!!!!!!!! her tail is beautiful and i love the seal black eyes LOL

This is a really great picture. It sends out such a great message. The expression on the mermaid’s face is just so.....wonderful. When I look at this picture I feel joyful that the mermaid was able to save the baby seal, and at the same time I’m sad when I think about what might of happened if the mermaid hadn’t gotten there in time and what is happening. The picture is just beautiful and wonderful and it really sends out a great message!
