	From Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, with which I am dangerously obsesed. The blob to his left is the start of the Raven King's shoulder - I was really dissatisfied with the rest of the picture (which included Jonathan, Arabella, and the Raven King), so just cropped out everything but Childermass, who, ironically, took the shortest time to draw and was an afterhought. :P

4 May 2008	Julia Krejci	Loading... I can’t believe it, it’s the second fan art for this book that I get to see in a very short time. That makes me happy, for I love this book. Childermass is one of my favourite characters, next to the elven-lord. Your picture doesn’t look exactly as I imagined him, but that’s just subjectivity... Anyway I love your view of him and besides that the picture is really good, I love the monochrome colour and your skills drawing faces are great. If I may say that, he looks a little like Snape... but that’s just my opinion. I love it.
