I'm flipping through a lot of these authors, here, and I'm not gonna sugarcoat the fact that most of them really can't write. Maybe they've got good stories floundering around in their heads, but they just don't know how to get something down on paper with any level of impact on the reader. Nothing great is ever gonna come of most of them. You, however, have at least the beginnings of an artistic voice, and you should do all you can to foster it. Keep on writing--experiment with every style and subject you can imagine, even if you don't love the result. But even more importantly, keep right on reading anything and everything, from literary classics to contemporary fiction to the daily news. Even if it doesn't interest you, even if you think it'll have zero impact on your style, read it anyway, because it's that wide exposure that's gonna make or break you. I hope to see your name in a by-line sometime in the near future. Best of luck.

i had Lord and Sam and my page too. I'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish by doing this.
