SciFi and Fantasy Art Liander by Casey Dean Standridge

This is the hero of a picture I drew sometime ago. This is as old as the original, but the original was a large battle scene that I did in ink was done large map paper, so I can't scan it. Anyways, Liander is a general of the protagnonist army facing the antagonist army of evil. Drawn in pencil, outlined in ink, then colored in colored pencils I hope you like this one. (Remember this was done when I was 16).

15 Jun 2000	Amy R. Judd	Loading... I really do think he looks a lot like king arthur. He's got a very calm look to him. Almost like he knows he will win this war. Like he's very sure of him self. He looks so noble.... He really doesn't look just like a general... more like a knight king or something.

3 Nov 2003	Martin	Loading... I´m also a Liander and as far as I know "Liander" is a Swedish surname traced to 14th Cent.However, nothing that I see in the picture relates to this region. I rather suggest that this is a Byzantine, referring to his uniform.
